Greetings Delvers!

You will have no doubt noticed I have brought in the big guns for this campaign! Flytrap Factory is the studio of my talented friend and fellow Kiwi, Anton Ducrot. 

Anton has been sculpting, molding and casting for 16 years - for FF and other companies around the world, including Martin Wallace/Terry Pratchett (Treefrog Games), Dr Grordborts (Weta Workshop) Effincool Miniatures, WeeWolf Miniatures,Warlord Games, Battlefront Miniatures, Zombiesmith Miniatures,, IDesigns, Tui Beer Company, Flashpoint Miniatures, Clearhorizon Miniatures, Worlds End Publishing, Microworld Games and many, many, more...

Cecil and Milton are half-brothers. Milton's mother was a troll and it shows in his disposition and dental hygiene. Cecil is part-blind and relies on his massive pet boar Basil for sight. Together, they are bound to bring the house down!

When you start to mess around with Mother Nature... She’s going to mess back! Kongeegenan is an ancient Oak, a giant King of the Forest. He enters the fray wielding an eldritch menhir!

On the Shoulders of Giants...  Anton has supported and encouraged my sculpting from the beginning. It's a real gift to have a few of his personal sculpts on offer as part of this Kickstarter; Milton, Cecil (with detachable pet boar, Basil) and Kongeegenan! These are large, high-quality resin figurines. 

Currently Anton is working on commissions (mostly top secret) and future Flytrap Factory projects, as well as wrapping up his rules for Warpod; a narrative skirmish miniatures wargame set on the backwater moon of Destron where malfunctioning robots wage an endless war...

When Anton offered me his magnificent Giants, as a Kickstarter Exclusive, for Law Vs Chaos, I was gob-smacked. The whole trio is included in the Doomsday pledge reward, or you can get them as add-ons:

The Epic Hero Pledge Reward

With just over a day to go on the Law Vs Chaos Kickstarter campaign, I thought we could take a closer look at the Epic Hero Pledge Reward. This includes the FREE Legendary Hero Skullsword (thanks to John R. Lehman), the 5 Lords or Law, the 5 Champions of Chaos, the 5 Epic Hero stretch goals AND the St. Andre Troll. 

As you can see, it's quite a haul! 16 heroic metal miniatures AND the St. Andre Troll in quality resin!

You also receive the digital rewards: The song Mystic Voyage by Wolf Wizard and Grant Stone's short story, Monster.

Heavy Terrain: The Double Doors of Doom!

Greetings Delvers!

Here is a heavy piece of (resin) terrain for your next dungeon crawl. There are times in a sculptor’s life when they do something completely different. I blame Murray. Functions as a temple entrance (Dagon or Cthulhu?), or the throne room of a benthic king, or the janitor’s closet at Star Hat University, or as an inter-planetary gate. Travis loves the versatility.

“The Double Doors of Doom,” Nika whispered in hushed tones, “you open them.”
Nanook stared up at the ornate doors with an uneasy feeling, “It’s your turn.” 
“What, again?” 
“Yeah, I opened the chest in the last room,” he said. 
Nika coughed abruptly, “chests don’t count.” 
“I think we’re being watched,” he said quietly, “and not in a good way…”
“Is there ever a good way?”
“It’s moving!” 

It was promised (or threatened?) and now it has appeared... do I see dragon flame? Only 40 hours left!? Let's find more backers! Feel free to share these updates!

Epic Hero: Nanook, Bane of Corruption!

Greetings Delvers!

Here is the last Epic Hero, Nanook, Bane of Corruption! That brings the total number of metal miniatures to 16... an Epic total! Plus there are the wonderful resin figurines from Flytrap Factory. And the St. Andre Troll! Nanook is a FREE miniature for backers of the Epic Hero, Doomsday and Legendary Hero rewards.

With 69 hours left of this campaign, there are a few things to wrap up before the final countdown. I will be posting details about the final Stretch Goals and how to get the Add-Ons, including the Kickstarter Exclusive Giants sculpted by Anton from Flytrap Factory.

I would really love to see Gary Hunt's Black Dragon included and we only need 17 more backers for Borranix to fly! So keep spreading the word!
